Karen Mutton is an Australian author of alternative books residing in Sydney.  Her interest in alternative subjects goes back to her early teenage years when she was exposed to the writings of mystical author Tuesday Lobsang Rampa. He wrote of Tibet, astral travelling, ancient civilisations, aurasS and many other subjects which have become popular with the New Age Movement.

Karen’s earliest passions were astronomy and archaeology, Ancient civilisations. She studied for her BA at Sydney University, majoring in English and Ancient History before embarking upon a teaching career. She also travelled extensively throughout the world, visiting archaeological sites in all continents.

Karen settled down to raise her family and once again became interested in alternative subjects when the internet was inaugurated.  She discovered a lot of inaccurate information about T. Lobsang Rampa and conducted exhaustive research which resulted in her first solo book ‘T. Lobsang Rampa New Age Trailblazer’ which is  currently published by TGS Publishers.
A chapter on the aura in this book led Karen to do further research on this subject with the resulting publication ‘Pioneers of the Aura’ in 2007.

Her third book details information about underwater ruins from around the world called ‘Sunken Realms’, and is now being published and available as an eBook.

Karen’s articles have been published in ‘Nexus’ and ‘New Dawn’ magazines and she has been interviewed by ‘Radio Nexus’, ‘Eye  on the Future’ in Vancouver and  in Atlanta.
She isn’t associated with any religious or philosophical body or educational institution.
